Christmas has been and gone for another year and now it is time to look forward to our summer vacations. If you are planning on going away this year then you should certainly consider visiting somewhere that you have never been to before in the UK.

You do not need to go through the hassle of going abroad in order to enjoy a fantastic vacation. To prove this point, take a look at the top three places to visit in Britain in 2019.

Brighton

Brighton is well known as being a place which is filled with colour and culture. If you are a person who likes the arts then you will fall in love with this city. What is so great about Brighton is that there is something for everybody to enjoy and so it provides the perfect location for those who are going away in a big number or are going on holiday as a family.

You will be able to take a walk along the famous Brighton pier, visit the lavish Royal Pavilion and soak in the fantastic and vibrant nightlife. What a lot of people like to do when visiting the city is to stay in one of the holiday cottages or campervans in Brighton rather than opting for a city centre hotel. The reason for this is because you benefit from a holiday which achieves the perfect blend between relaxation and liveliness.

Moreover, you get to stop in spots that boast the most beautiful scenery and they do all of this for a cheaper price. Look into VW campervan hire and you will see that this is much cheaper than staying in a hotel and it’s a lot more fun too!

Chichester

Chichester is a great location for those who like to embrace history and learn something new while on holiday. It is a cathedral city and it plays home to some of the oldest buildings in the whole of the country.

You will be able to visit a vast range of churches and other historical locations. This is certainly a place to go if you want to create a lot of memories.

Moreover, most people note that the place itself has a jovial atmosphere and that all of the locals are extremely friendly and welcoming. If you want to experience an uplifting community, friendly restaurants, welcoming cafes and intriguing history then this is the place for you.

Eastbourne

Eastbourne is located on the coast and provides a great place to go during the summer months. It is a place which is certainly not short of things to do and see and thus you will find yourself struggling to decide whether to visit the castles, museums, sport activities, shops, farmer’s markets, art galleries, parks, beaches, gardens and so much more.

The atmosphere is energised and you will find a wealth of different wine bars and traditional pubs to enjoy a nice afternoon drink in as well. In addition to this, similarly to Brighton, there are lots of cottages and camper parks, which are in and around the area which individuals seem to prefer staying in. You will benefit from the beautiful views of the coast which are simply breathtaking.

Will you be taking a staycation in 2019?

Some great places. I definitely want to go back to Eastbourne one day. It used to have a reputation as being a place just elderly people go to but has been becoming more modern in recent years.

I have been to Brighton many times. It’s so good – I always find something new when there. I went to Eastbourne once for the day but haven’t ever stayed there or been back. I do have a few friends there so I should go back.

I will surely take a staycation. These 3 places are good choices. I have to give it time to think which place it’ll be.

I’ve never been to any of these places and everyone always recommends Brighton for a nice day trip out to the seaside. Eastbourne would be my first choice though as you had me at castles!

I have been to Brighton and definitely recommend it but not been to the other places you’ve mentioned. Adding them to my local tourism list.
