Who doesn’t love deliciously scented candles? Especially at this time of year I love snuggling up on the sofa and lighting some to create a cosy autumnal atmosphere while I relax and watch TV or work on a crochet project.
I was given this adorable Cat Candle from Oliver Bonas by my sister as part of my birthday present. Founded in 1993, Oliver Bonas is an independent British lifestyle store selling fashion and homeware inspired by the alchemy of great design and fresh thinking.
The candle comes in a super cute white cat-shaped ceramic holder speckled with black dots, finished with gold whiskers and cat ears moulded into the holder.
The paraffin wax candle combines floral notes of essential oils ylang-ylang and violet with uplifting citrus orange flower and lemon producing an almost marshmallowy fragrance.
The candle really creates a relaxed and cosy atmosphere, perfect after a long day. It has a strong fragrance which wafts around the room even when it is not burning which is a bonus.
The Oliver Bonas Violet Leaf and Vanilla Candle has a burn time of around 40 hours and once it is finished you can easily find another candle to place in the ceramic holder, or reuse it as helpful and cute storage.
I really love how adorable this candle is with its minimal style and cat decal with hints of gold and cheery smile. The scent is uplifting and yet relaxing which I really enjoy
